COCA-COLA® INSPIRES FANS TO IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH LAUNCH OF NEW LIMITED-EDITION CREATIONS FLAVOUR AND AI EXPERIENCE

First futuristic flavour co-created with human and artificial intelligence drops alongside an AI-powered experience, inspiring the endless possibilities of an optimistic future

[LONDON] (September 12, 2023) – Today Coca-Cola® launched Coca-Cola® 3000 Zero Sugar, a new limited-edition flavour and AI-powered experience from Coca-Cola® Creations. Coca-Cola® 3000 Zero Sugar is the first futuristic flavour co-created with human and artificial intelligence from Coca-Cola®, celebrating an optimistic future through the connections we make. The drop also includes an incredible new AI-powered experience that will give fans an unexpected and exciting perspective of the year 3000.

The unique Creation unlocks a shared experience of Real Magic, offering fans a refreshing taste and a glimpse of what the future could look like through Coca-Cola’s new AI-powered experience. By scanning the Coca-Cola 3000 can, fans will be taken to the Creations Hub where they can use the customised 3000 AI lens to glimpse into the future.

Coca-Cola created the 3000 experience by tapping into human and artificial intelligence to understand how fans envision the future through emotions, aspirations, colours, flavours and more. Fans’ perspectives from around the world, combined with insights gathered from artificial intelligence, helped inspire Coca-Cola to create the unique taste of 3000.

The new Creation features a futuristic packaging design including light and optimistic tones, a Coca-Cola® Creations logo composed of effervescent bubbles, and the Coca-Cola Spencerian Script, with fluid dot clusters, that merge to represent the human connections of our future planet. Co-created with artificial intelligence, the design showcases liquid in a morphing, evolving state, communicated through form and colour changes that emphasise a positive future.

Rob Yeomans, Vice-President, Commercial Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) GB, said: “These limited editions are about more than simply driving a short-term sales burst; they get people excited and talking about our brand, which is proven to engage new shoppers.

“One in five shoppers that bought our Coca-Cola Creations last year were new to the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar brand[1], and there was a sustained volume sales increase for the brand in the months that followed each launch[2].

“With Coca-Cola Creations, we’re doing exactly what we set out to do – broaden the appeal of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and maintain its position as the fastest growing major cola brand in GB by value[3], while bringing new shoppers into the total zero sugar colas segment[4].”

Coca-Cola® 3000 Zero Sugar is available in select markets around the world, including Europe, the United States, Canada, China and Africa and follows the arrival of Intergalactic, Marshmello, Dreamworld in 2022 and Movement earlier this year. Each launch was unique, both in taste and in terms of the consumer experiences it offered – and each was available in small quantities to shoppers over a short period of time.
