A RETAIL HALLOWEEN

Halloween has once again crept upon me

Working so hard walking like a Zombie

Cos somehow we need to keep the (twi)lights on

With price rises coming at us like a batton

And while customers want the prices slashing

The wolves at the door their teeth are knashing

But still we never open up (muti)late

But cant sell everything at deep cut rate

As retailers we don’t fear the beeper

But don’t ask us to sell it cheaper

And while availability may seem a bit skeletal

Our desire is like a vampires, unquenchable

So while its hard working in the convenience spector

Our minds are sharp just like death’s sceptre

But from C-Talk that lives upon the web

We know that our faith wont ebb

From us we hope you like our ditty

We know its sill but for us don’t pitty

So happy Halloween to all the retailers

Where Wolf we be with out you.
