J&J WILSON HOLIDAY PARK STORES DONATE OVER £7,000 TO ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTION

Date

J&J Wilson holiday park stores have recently donated £7,275 to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL)

charity.

As a Nisa retailer the donation was made possible through the sale of Co-op own brand products in J&J Wilson stores in holiday parks across the UK.

“We are delighted to be able to support the RNLI with this donation,” said Scott Lloyd, director at J&J Wilson. “The RNLI is a vital organisation that provides essential rescue services to people in need at sea. We are proud to be able to play a small role in helping them to continue their important work.”

The RNLI is a charity that saves lives at sea. It has over 230 lifeboat stations around the UK and Ireland, and its volunteers are called out to rescue people in distress 365 days a year. The charity relies on donations to fund its work.

“We are incredibly grateful to J&J Wilson for their generous donation through MADL,” said Paul Hazelwood, RNLI Community Fundraising Manager. “This donation will help us to continue to provide our lifesaving services to people in need at sea.”

The significant donation from J&J Wilson holiday park stores will be used to support the RNLI’s lifesaving work. It will help to fund the training of volunteer lifeboat crew, the maintenance of lifeboats and other rescue equipment, and the provision of other essential services.

Kate Carroll, Head of Charity at Nisa, added: “The RNLI is such a fantastic cause so I’m delighted that J&J Wilson stores have raised such a significant figure through MADL. I’m sure the donation will be really well received and will benefit RNLI’s superb work across the UK and Ireland.”
